5th Grade Memories

Page history last edited by Plurby 12 years, 6 months ago

Sadly, our last year at Scobee Elementary has come to an end. We've made SO MANY memories, and we don't want to forget them, right? So in order to remember them, list them all (or just your favorites) in the table below.

Alex:  When I fell down at lunch, knitting comfort dolls, the globe falling on Mrs. Shanahans head, NEVER ENDING LAUGHS, writing our graduation memories, watching the sound of music, singing at recess, 5th Grade Carnival, GRADUATION.....wish I could list them all!
Shelbi:

It's hard for me to pick my favorite when I loved every day of the year 2011.

Never will I forget, and I mean that.

Mrs. S  Knitting Comfort Dolls for Japan after the tsunami.
Mrs. C
Too many to list.. BUT I really did enjoy the rock quarry field trip.  I LOVED it when Shelby was asked to lick the rock that looked like... you know!
Daryn  When the globe fell on Mrs.Shanahan's head! Or the cube in her eye... Or when I fell and hit my head on that cart...or every lunch because it's always nonstop laughs...Or when I first got my nickname! Or the first day of school or red ribbon week...or writing our memoirs...or game day...or making the cranberry sauce! Or that Christmas performance! Or Mrs. Betty's visit. Or starting the comfort dolls...or the first time we got on our wiki writing our All About Me poems...or taking that picture with our Janice VanCleave aprons...or actually MEETING Janice VanCleave and her daughter (WHO REMEMBERED MY NAME!!!) or reading "Love That Dog" and "Hate That Cat"...or when June Scobee Rogers came to our school! Or sobbing my head off and cracking up at the same time when Mrs.Shanahan played us "Do I Make You Proud?"for the first time... Or...or ....UGH SO MANY!!! But fun day was INCREDIBLE! The pool party after graduation was pretty wicked, too. But the best and worst memory was graduation, itself. The slideshow was the most emotional part of...this entire year for me, cuz it potrayed a whole bunch of memories...all at once in pictures. My favorite picture was the last one they showed (I dunno how many of you remember it...but the last picture)
Sanjana

Definitely hearing the song "Do I Make You Proud" for the first time and these little beauties:

Mrs. Shanahan, I can't find a way to save the video into my folder, so I will do it at school.

June Shanahan said

I am thinking that I will upload the video to schooltube, then you can upload the school tube video. Would that work? Are you trying to move the video into your folder on the wiki? If so, I can move it. Or we can just figure it out tomorrow...no big hurry. :-)

Oh my gosh!!!!!! Yes!!!!! That's the best idea EVER!!!!!! We could copy and paste them to the bottom of our All About Me Poetry, or we could create individual pages!!!! You guys can do whatever you want.

I just have to say this...I don't think I would even remember that globe falling on my head at all if you guys wouldn't have made such a big deal out of it, falling out of your seats, laughing your little Super Brain heads off.
